What can people do if they receive unwanted advertising in the mail?
I believe they can do a couple of things; they can contact the company which sent the unwanted advertising and request that they don’t send anymore, and they can also instruct the post office to not deliver this kind of unsolicited mail to their mail box.
I’m not sure if you can just say you don’t want ‘anything like that’ delivered or if you have to specify the name of the sender in each case. It’s not something I’ve ever had a problem with personally.
Oh, and of course, they could always just do nothing – I mean, collect it from the mail box and then throw it in the garbage – done! No need to contact anyone or get anyone else involved.
