Do you think it is better to apply for a job by letter or by email? (Why?/Why not?)
Personally, I prefer to send an email, but which is better? Well, the easy answer would depend on what it says on the job vacancy – if it asks you to send your resume and covering letter by email, or even upload it to their site, then that’s the best way to apply.
On the other hand, if the company or agency asks you to mail your resume and covering letter, then clearly that’s the best way. Really, I think nowadays most recruitment professionals expect to receive resumes and applicant details by email rather than in hard copy.
