Describe an occasion you wore your favourite clothes
IELTS Speaking Practice: Sample Answer:Well, to be honest, I've got a few favourite outfits I love. But there’s one that stands out. It’s a pair of jeans, you know, the classic kind - and they're just perfect! They fit me like a glove and the faded blue colour is so cool. I paired them with a white T-shirt and my old leather jacket. It’s a very casual look but somehow, when I'm wearing it, I always feel put together.
I wore this outfit last summer when I went on a road trip with my friends. We were in this coastal town and I wanted to be comfortable but still stylish. I felt really good in it, you know? Like I could do anything in those jeans. And the best part was, it was so versatile – I could dress it up with heels for dinner or keep it casual for a day of sightseeing.
I chose this outfit because it’s so easy to wear. I don’t have to think too much about it - and I always feel good wearing it. It’s my go-to outfit for any casual occasion. And like I said, it makes me feel confident and relaxed which is really important to me. It’s funny because clothes can really affect your mood, don’t you think? When you wear something you love, you just feel better.
So, that's my favourite outfit.
