Why Do Some Companies Have Uniforms for Their Employees?

IELTS Speaking Part 3 | Uniforms Why do some companies ask their staff to wear uniforms? There might be various reasons… for example, to help build a sense of belonging and teamwork among the employees. Wearing a uniform can help employees identify with the company and feel valuable. It could also be simply due to the need to protect employees own clothes from being damaged while working, for example while working on a production line in a factory. Another reason might be to identify the employees of the company to clients or customers so that they know who they are, for example in a large store, or employees who need to visit a client’s business premises to carry out maintenance or repairs or some other technical function.
