What Kind of Advertisement Do You Like the Most?

IELTS Speaking Practice Part 1 Question | What kind of advertisement do you like the most? What kind of advertisement do you like the most? Sample Answer Generally, I would have to say video commercials or ads; they’re usually more interesting than just static ads in a magazine or elsewhere. But of course, it depends on what the ad is selling and how it’s presented also. I mean … there are some really boring ones, but then again, there are some really good ones, like the Evian baby ads which were awesome! Stuff like that gets people talking and it’s more like entertainment than just advertising a product – so it’s easier to like adverts which are presented in that way. If it’s different from other ads; quirky, catchy, or just funny – then I’ll usually like it, but if it’s just a person saying stuff then it’s quite boring and I won’t watch it. Next Question

How Do You Feel About Advertisements?

How do you feel about advertisements? Generally, I’m quite indifferent; some of them can be funny, and some of them seem to generate a lot of interest and hype sometimes, but I don’t normally buy anything because of adverts. For example, even if a brand or product has the most amazing ad, I wouldn’t buy the product unless it was the best product on offer compared to other alternatives. So while ads might be important, and even a form of entertainment sometimes, nothing persuades more than hard facts, or personal recommendations when it comes to actually purchasing something. Next Question

Is There Much Advertising in Your Country?

IELTS Speaking Test Part 1 Questions Advertising Is there much advertising in your country? Yes, there are lots of advertisements everywhere you look. You can’t walk or drive along a street without seeing advertising of one sort or another promoting all kinds of products and brands. For example, you can see large billboards, posters on bus stops, advertising panels on taxis, and even the entire taxi painted in the colors of a brand, business or company, and buses sponsored by brands too. You can’t escape it. There is also the more traditional advertising on TV and radio, in newspapers, magazines and other special publications, and online ads are now everywhere on all the apps everyone is using, so yes, sometimes it feels like we’re being bombarded by ads – but then you also become immune to them after a while. On the other hand, if I’m driving or maybe even reading I’ll listen to something more relaxing, maybe some nice instrumental music because I find it helps me concentrate. My grandmother, we don't talk that often but when I do call her we normally speak for at least half an hour and more often than not it's longer than that.
