IELTS Speaking Test Part 1 Questions

Are there many advertisements in your country?

There are probably as many ads as in the majority of countries. Nowadays, it’s normal to see ads almost everywhere, at the roadside on billboards, banners, and posters, and then there are TV and radio ads, and obviously online advertising and ads delivered through apps to your mobile phone too.

It’s difficult to determine how much is ‘many’ – I don’t think there are any less ads or any more ads than in most parts of the world – brands and businesses need to sell their products and we need to consume, so seeing ads everywhere is normal.
