Do you like robots?

IELTS Speaking Part 1 | Robots Yes, I guess I do. I mean they’re incredibly innovative and robot technology is becoming a bigger part of everyday life. Some of the things robots can do are really amazing. The idea that robots will make life easier for humans is an old idea, but now the technology has advanced enough for it to be true, to a certain extent. So, I like what they can do and I’m excited about the future as robots become more integrated into our lives. Would you like robots to work at your home? Well, the thought of having robots help out at home sounds so cool! Just imagine them tidying up, doing the laundry, or even cooking meals. What perception of robots did you have as a child?

IELTS Part 1 Questions - Robots I suppose the image of a robot would be like the ones you see in movies, usually some form of metallic mechanism. Although the robots popular in movies were always given personalities, to make them appear more like a human. In reality, robots in factories or production lines, for example, have very few characteristics which are similar to humans, and tend not to interact with humans. My overall perception was that they were really awesome, and I can remember looking forward to the future when robots would do everything we don’t like doing.
