IELTS Speaking Test Part 1 Where are you from? I'm originally from a small village in the north of the country, but my family moved here to the city when I was very young. Where do you live? At the moment I'm living with some friends, here in the city. Is it an apartment or a house? I'm sharing a rented apartment with some friends. It's in an old apartment block in the central district here in the city, on the 7th floor so it's got a tremendous view. We've known each other since we were at university so it works out well and we all get on together. What kind of accommodation do you prefer? Well, I like where I stay at the moment, but ideally I'd like to have my own house someday in the future, with a garden. I prefer a house because normally you have more space.
