Here’s a list of the top 15 traditional and digital spaces where we can see advertisements: Television : Commercial breaks during TV shows, sports events, and movies. Social Media Platforms : Ads on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), TikTok, LinkedIn, and more. Search Engines : Sponsored results on Google, Bing, and other search engines. Before, adverts were common in newspapers, magazines, and other published material, and on TV and radio. But now with advances in technology, and since everyone has a mobile phone, probably the biggest growth area for ads has been online, through websites, apps and so on, and better technology now has made it easier now to product large scale advertisements such as billboards and huge banners too. For example, the buses and other large vehicles you see with adverts on them – in the past the ads would have to have been painted on them by hand, but now printing technology makes it much easier, quicker and cheaper to produce such things – so naturally there are more of them.
