In Part 2 IELTS Speaking you are shown a question card on a specific subject, and it will also include an outline that you need to discuss in your answer. IELTS Part 2 Speaking This part of the interview offers you the chance to speak more freely about a topic. Before you begin, you have 60 seconds or so to organize to discuss the topic presented on the question card. Some paper and a pencil is provided for so that you can jot down some notes for your answer. After that, you will need to talk for between 1-2 minutes.
