IELTS Part 3 Questions - ToysSample Answer:
There are a lot of things; for example, the age of the child, what thins the child likes, the kind of toys the child already has, and the cost of the toy as well.
It’s important to consider whether the toy is just for fun or it serves some educational purpose.
If it’s not the parents buying the toy, then the person should think carefully about what kind of toy is appropriate and also the cost.
They shouldn’t spend more than the parents would on a toy because it might cause a difficult situation.
They also shouldn’t buy a child something that the parents wouldn’t approve of.
I suppose the occasion is something else you should consider. I mean if it’s the child’s birthday or another special occasion then maybe that will influence either how special the toy is or how big or expensive the toy is that you choose.
Another thing that is important is that the toy is age-appropriate and safe. There’s no point in buying a toy which has a lot of really small parts for a very young child who might choke on the bits.
The toy should also be safe, you know, made without any harmful materials or potentially dangerous components, sharp parts, things like that.
