IELTS Part 2 Speaking Questions

In Part 2 of the IELTS Speaking test you have to speak for 1-2 minutes on a topic which the examiner will give you on a card (so you can see the points you need to talk about).

You will be given 1 minute to think and plan your answer, some paper and a pencil to make notes, and then you will have to speak about the topic on the card for 1-2 minutes.

The examiner will not ask you any questions while you are speaking. All topics are about your personal life experience and how you feel about certain things. You should try and make your talk interesting, like telling a story to a friend.

This section of the IELTS Speaking test lasts about 3-4 minutes in total.
