IELTS Speaking Test Part 2 Questions

Talk about a company that you think is interesting

You should say:
  • which company it is
  • why it is interesting
  • what you know about the company
and say if you would like to work there.

Describe a car/bicycle trip you would like to go on

You should say:
  • where you would go
  • who you would take along
  • whether it would be a difficult trip
and explain what you would hope to gain from this trip.

Talk about a country you would like to work in for a short period of time.

You should say:
  • which country it is
  • why you want to work there
  • what kind of work you would like to do
and explain why you would choose this country to work in.

Describe a place affected by pollution.

You should say:
  • where it is
  • what the problem is
  • how you know about it
and say if anything has been done about the effects of the poluution.

Talk about your favorite free time activity.

You should say:
  • what it is
  • when and how often you do it
  • Who you do it with
and explain what you like most about this particular activity.

Talk about a difficult choice you had to make.

You should say:
  • what it was
  • why it was difficult
  • how you made the choice
and explain if you still think it was the right choice now.

Talk about a time when you were very busy.

You should say:
  • why you were busy
  • what you were doing
  • how you managed your time
and explain how you felt during this period of time.


IELTS Speaking Test Part 3 Questions

Companies
  • Are companies paying more for senior employees nowadays?
  • Do you think employers should take better care of employees compared to customers?
  • What are some of the major industries that have grown in your country recently?

Trips
  • Why are there so many cars on roads these days?
  • What are the most popular modes of public transport in your area?
