Is using an app more acceptable for young people than the old? | IELTS Speaking Test Questions & Answers

IELTS Speaking Test Part 3 Questions

Is using an app more acceptable for young people than the old?

No, how can it be – I mean an app serves a purpose – it allows you to do something, so if a young person or an old person wants to do something by using an app, how can it be more acceptable for one of them?

Apps are just tools to allow someone to do something using technology. Maybe they want to shop, listen to music, publish pictures, play games, whatever – there’s an app for everything.

So, there’s no problem with anyone of any age using an app for whatever they’re interested in – it’s just using a tool to do what you want to do basically, there’s no level of acceptability or appropriateness involved.
